d.gen files a successful FESPA Digital and gets ready for Drupa 2016 according to a new strategy that places the customer at the center
At FESPA 2016 d.gen has confirmed its leading role as a manufacturer of textile printers now characterized by the highest manufacturing quality, versatility and reliability. The range of products has been expanded, upwards and downwards, with the introduction of a series of new models which can satisfy the productivity and quality requirements of small and medium textile print-service providers. The unification of all print engines on the Ricoh Gen5 industrial inkjet technology and the availability of textile pigment inks on almost all the platforms is part of a strategy that gives maximum freedom of choice to the customers, as well as the ability to upgrade their installed base and make the investment modular. All the models are
"Our new customer-centric approach is not only based on an empathetic approach and a good service, but on making him the protagonist of modern, clean, efficient and profitable production methods. It's clear that many textile printing providers are frustrated by their existing technology and the continuous need to invent how to source pre-treated fabrics and run additional textile processes - says Andrea Negretti, WW Business Manager at d.gen - For this reason thanks to our own R&D and a network of partners we're delivering an integrated range of fully redesigned printers, service machines, consulting, pre and after-sales services that help customers to be happy and successful".
Soft signage reaches home texile & fashion
The current range of printers d.gen is divided among roll-to-roll printers for paper and direct-to-fabric applications, and the completely redesigned Artrix G5 equipped with sticky-belt for the most advanced home textile and fashion applications with reactive, acid and textile pigment inks. The direct-to-fabric range starts with the entry-level Arachne Hexa H6, with a printing width of 1,8 meters, a productivity of 52 sqm/hr, 6 colors and the last generation of pigment inks, fed by high-capacity 5 liters tanks. Teleios Hexa is the sister machine, dedicated to soft signage and equipped with a in-line fixation unit. If Teleios Black is considered the industry standard for soft signage and is available in 1,8 and 2,5 meters widths, d.gen Grande is instead the growing family of superwide format textile printers. The well-established Grande G5 is available in the 2,6 and 3,3 meters widths, both equipped with in-line heavy duty heating unit. The new Grande H6 is the newly-designed 3,3 meters with pigment inks for home textile applications. Last but not least, Papyrus G5 is now one of the most productive solutions for paper printing, thanks to its impressive speed of 138 sqm/hr, the compact body, an integrated dryer and the heavy-duty paper winding units. Looking at service machines, at FESPA 2015 d.gen has also launched CaP, a multifunctional unit for pre-treatment and fixation of woven and knitted fabrics.
