Aware of the success achieved at ITMA and Heimtextil, highly focused on research, development and design, d.gen faces the challenges of 2016 with solid technology, real innovation and impressive design
A fully-redesigned range of platforms for paper and direct-to- textile
Thanks to the efforts made by the R&D team, d.gen has dedicated the entire 2015 to completely redesign its range of printers, combining the usual reliability and manufacturing excellence with a more attractive design and technical features closer to the demand of end users. The result is a range of printers which are unique for their completeness, versatility, availability of sizes, ink chemistries and color configurations. All accompanied by a "total black" look and a smooth design, which is seducing customers and resellers who look for new effective, profitable and eye-catching platforms, from Europe to South America.
"The market is increasingly crowded of digital textile operators, platforms and production processes. For d.gen this is a turning point and marks the return of our brand among the most complete and prestigious suppliers - says Andrea Negretti, WW Business Development Manager at d.gen - with the implementation of new ink chemistries, advanced technologies, expanded colors and first class manufacturing, we meet the needs of entry-level customers, as well as the requests of operators who’re about to migrate from analog to digital, and the needs of top customers".
Few more colors can make a lot of difference
Among the main changes introduced by d.gen on all its models is the availability of extended color configurations, with the introduction of light colors and additional channels, such as orange, turquoise, fluorescent yellow, fluorescent pink and SPC. Extended colors not only affect the top of the line, but also the entry-level models Teleios and Arachne Hexa, to demonstrate the intention of d.gen to broaden the access to its technologies and enable customers to new and profitable applications, from soft signage to sporstwear.
3,3 meters size at more competitive price for a fast-growing market
Loyal to its leadership extra large sizes conquered and consolidated with the legendary Teleios Grande G5, d.gen extends the availability of XXL size to a growing community of end users. This is the meaning of Teleios Grande H6, which combines the compactness of Teleios 3.3 meters size with the addition of dedicated channels for special colors and a productivity that comes to 175 sqm/hr. Alongside its productivity and robustness, the new Grande G5/H6 has a particularly aggressive price that will be unveiled at FESPA Digital.
Ready to play a leading role at FESPA Digital 2016
As a long-term Textile Partner of FESPA Digital, d.gen prepares to play a leading role this year with new products, models and features. Among the key players the new Teleios Hexa and Teleios Grande H6, together with the new entry-level Arachne Hexa and a double installation of Papyrus G5, the extraordinary high-speed printer for paper. Thanks to the ability of feeding mini-jumbo reels weighing up to 120 Kg and 1000 meters, coupled with the autonomy guaranteed by the 5-liters per color ink tanks, Papyrus is designed to produce up to 138 sqm/hr over several shifts, implementing a real industrial workflow. The Papyrus range, like all other d.gen platforms, is equipped with the
Ricoh Gen5 industrial printheads.
“By following market studies and continuously offering innovative high-quality products, d.gen is growing its position among the top digital printing brands in the textile industry – explains Bruno Ruggiero, Support Manager at d.gen – this is one of the reasons why we’ve pursued the total uniformity of our printers on Ricoh Gen5 industrial printheads. This allows us to focus on a strong core technology and optimize software, hardware, electronics and ink train, create critical mass and provide maximum reliability, quick availability of spare parts, best-in- class service and high performance to all our customers, from those who choose entry-level systems up to the top of the range”.
